What we collect

SportsXsport Studio collects the photo you upload, the player and team details you enter, design settings, order status, payment confirmation, delivery email, event association, and limited technical records needed to secure and operate the service. Stripe receives payment details directly; SportsXsport does not store full card numbers.

Adult-only ordering and youth photos

This is a general-audience service for adults. Uploads must be made by an adult athlete, parent or legal guardian, or another adult who has documented authority from the athlete or parent/guardian. Children under 13 may not upload photos or place orders. A child’s image is treated as sensitive personal information and is never used for advertising, public galleries, model training, or facial recognition by SportsXsport.

How photos are used

Uploaded photos are used only to check print quality, remove the background, perform an optional gentle retouch selected by the customer, compose the ordered poster, support reprints, and deliver the finished file. Service providers receive only the information needed for those functions and must be configured before production checkout is enabled.

Retention and deletion

Originals, retouched intermediates, and cutouts are scheduled for deletion 30 days after fulfillment. Finished poster files are scheduled for deletion after 90 days unless an event or support hold is active. Order, consent, refund, and tax records may be retained for up to seven years. An authorized adult can request earlier deletion by contacting SportsXsport; legal, fraud, chargeback, or tax holds may delay deletion.

Protection

Photos and final files are stored in private object storage. Previews are watermarked, and finished downloads require a private token. Right-click and print-screen friction does not prevent every screenshot, so the clean high-resolution file is never exposed in the browser preview.

Your choices

An authorized adult may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of order data through the SportsXsport contact page. Parents and guardians may also withdraw permission for future use; doing so can prevent an unfinished order from being completed.

This MVP policy should be reviewed by a New Jersey attorney before public launch, especially for event, school, and youth-team workflows.
